Just returned from the Marina to look at the follow up job on my boat. Wow! Job well done! Another satisfied customer. I must say it has been awhile since I have dealt with a company of your caliber. You have been awesome to deal with since day one! Your reviews definitely spoke the truth!

I must tell you that the service you provided me was exemplary. I have owned a lot of boats and dealt with many yards and contractors; and the experience I had with you was top shelf. I greatly appreciate it… and when I am back on the water will always keep you in mind.
Dear Tom, I just wanted to send along a testimonial to complement the recent restoration job your group did on my 50″ Cranchi Mediteranee express cruiser.
Matt and the other members of your team did an outstanding job in planning and executing the project which included repairing. prepping and painting the entire hull with Awlgrip. This included some redesign of the paint scheme for the boat and the final results were just beautiful. Our 9-year old boat looks better than it did the day it was d…
You really are one of the only service folks down there that seems to reply and respond as questions get asked. It truly is a rare customer service level you keep. It’s amazing how poor others are at it.
Last fall my 1997 Gemini 105M was struck by lightning. Almost everything electrical was damaged, and the electronics were fried. Frank Hoot came on board, assessed the damage, developed a plan and executed it perfectly.
Not only was he able to identify the lightning problems, he identified and correct electrical issues carried over from the manufacturer. He brought the boat up to current ABYC standards. This was all done as part of the plan. He also helped me deal with an extremely difficult ve…
Last year, my wife and I bought our 1982 Swan 391 on the Great Lakes and sailed her to the east coast. Getting the boat into Chesapeake Bay was a first step in pursuing the dream of some extended cruising. As a budget-conscious boat owner, I do the work that I can myself, but we needed some professional help and I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with Tom, Matt and the Diversified team.
The initial work I contracted was simply to remove the old (fresh water) bottom paint and barrier s…
I have Selene 48′ trawler. The Taiwanese carpenters are hard to match. But, I think Matt may just have given them some competition. He took a sample of our drawer front and matched it to perfection. That wasn’t an easy task with all the fine detail. He was even able to match the Ebony inlay on the cabinet top. His measurements were perfect and the cabinet fits beautifully. You know how…boats have more angles than geometry.
We had a time deadline of heading South. Matt made that deadline, workin…
One seldom encounters a business dedicated to superb quality of work, coupled with on-time performance at a fair price. Diversified Marine Service is such a company.
With a three week trip out of town, FROLIC was hauled in August for some minor gel coat repair and an awlgrip paint job. The deep luster of the flag blue paint is phenomenal.
We could not be more pleased.
My 1996 J/105 had a badly oxidized gel coat, faded decks and several small cracks in the fiberglass decking. I hired Diversified Marine to perform this major restoration for several reasons:
- Quality workmanship: Diversified Marine took the time to lay out his process to restore the boat in detail. It became evident to me that DMS would not take any shortcuts that would lead to a sub-standard job. Throughout the restoration, Tom immediately addressed anything he felt could compromise the end pr…
Dear Tom and Crew,
Thanks for your terrific work on “Cato” both last winter and over the years we have owned her. Matt’s terrific Lexan main hatch panels came out looking so nice the owner of the Hinckley across the dock demanded to know where we got them so he could have you make some for him (his came out pretty nice too).
There were some “ships carpentry” items that were past my skill level. Head door hinges etc. They made it onto last winter’s “list” and you guys did a superb job …
