Diversified Marine Services Inc. features an ecologically conscious, climate-controlled facility for topside Awlgrip spray painting and yacht restoration. This facility has recently been up-graded with special lighting, heating and ventilation systems. Thomas Kicklighter and William Tandy are now managing the application and restoration work in conjunction with a full time prep crew headed by Herber Morales.

We take great pride in the yacht restoration division of Diversified Marine Services Inc. This portion of our business has been a main stay especially in the fall and winter months when most of our client’s vessels are available for major re-fits and restoration. We have restored many types of vessels through out our history from the recent Bertram 31' "G Day", Cal 39' "All That Jass", Bristol 41' "Merrilly", Bristol 45' "Romance" , Bristol 33' "Mistoffellees", Farr 33' "Black Powder", Beneteau 36' "Volition", True North 38' "Tried and True", Hylas 46' "Nepenthe", Able 44' "Dusty Rose" to the Farr 40' "Fresh Guidance".

Awlgrip Premium coating systems are designed specifically for the pleasure craft industry and provide chemically cured finishes that are resistant to abrasion, chalking, corrosion and chemical attack. From the two component, polyester based, linear aliphatic polyurethane coating for high traffic surfaces, an Acrylic urethane coating for hull sides, to the anti-corrosive, strontium chromate epoxy primers for aluminum and steel, we utilize the proper product for the specific job application.
